The Vernon Baptist Church is committed to the Lord's great disciple-making commission. Our mission is to glorify God by helping people come to know and become like Jesus Christ.
It is therefore our desire to:
Reach out like Jesus – by helping God's people become involved in loving, redemptive relationships through which the lost can become His people, too.
Love like Jesus – by helping God's people become involved in personal relationships with one another through which they can be challenged to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ and find a place of refuge in a caring, compassionate, community.
Worship like Jesus – by inspiring God's people toward greater spiritual discipline and whole-hearted devotion to God.
and
Serve like Jesus – by equipping God's people for ministry and involving them in it.
